If you say to yourself "Good Enough" and really give that some thought... IS it REALLY a good enough job you've done?

Try this, and remember that!

So... do yourself a favor the next time you're in the bubble bath. Make a bath FULL of bubbles, lay back, scoop some up in your one hand (enough to create a glorious bubble barrier between your skin and your hand), close your eyes, and gently caress some body part with the bubbles, making sure your hand doesn't touch the part you're caressing.

Just. The. Bubbles. Should. Touch. Your. Skin.

It feels like someone else is caressing you. Really. If you do it right, that's what it feels like!!! How wonderful to stumble upon that little discovery last night in the tub!! Wait, was that last night? I can't even remember.

On a Different Note:

It's the holiday season approaching and I just wanted to take the time to remind everyone what the holiday's are about. They aren't about presents or who cooks the best turkey dinner. They are supposed to be about sharing celebrated and spirited time with family and those you deem family, even if they aren't. They're about being thankful that you have special people and family in your life to share the season with. They're about making people smile and laugh and feel good in knowing that you are there with them. They're about the magic of life.

So when you're making your Hoilday plans this year, don't forget that more likely than not, all the people really want around you is... YOU!

In honor of my 623post, I've decided since it was a SECS sister night, I'm going to drunk blog. Even though I feel more just like I'm tipsy than drunk, but hey. It's been a loooooooong time.

There are a few things I have to say... and since I have no inhibitions, now's probably the best time.

Have you ever noticed that you can literally go all night drinking but not having to pee and then when it finally hits you it's "break the seal" time and then you have to go like, every 20 minutes? It's quite disruptive to your time with your friends, really. My best advice is that you just holdit all in... although really, shouodl you me taking my advice right now? No.

I tipped the taxi driver $5, for what was just a 2 minute ride home. Excessive? I don't think so. I arrived safely and nobody got hurt or thrown up on. That's worth the huge tip.

In all honesty... you know you're in love when you're at a party and all you think about is how much you wish you had him to come home to.

When I close my eyes right now, the entire room spins. It is a fun trip, have to say... but really I just want to pass out.

How much wood would a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood? A wood chuck would chuck as much wood as a wood chuch could chuck wood!
.... so does it mean I'm not wasted if I can type that tongue twister without error?

Next weekend I'm going to go see Great Big Sea for the 5th or 6th time. I love that band. I just do.

I just dropped my cell phone.

A reconsideration...

I don't really know. The more tme I spend in the bathroom, and believe me, I've been in there plenty within the last 3 days what with the training stuff with Babe, the more I think that Stubby just looks like a giant log of poop with some pointy stuff coming out the top. Maybe that's why he always looks so sad all the time.

On a like note... have you ever noticed that if you hang around with someone long enough that you're on a VERY personal level with that your farts start smelling the same? I guess that's attributed to the fact that likely you're eating the same meals, but I actually find that to be slightly unsettling. It's my gas. It should be personal to me.

Anyone else want to get in on this streak of vivid intelligence?

Potty Training Chronicles...

Wow... isn't potty training fun. NOT FUN.

It's 10:38, my Babe's had 2 pee accidents already (within 12 minutes of each other, to boot).. this is going to be a loooooong day and I hope like hell it's not an indication of how the whole thing's going to go.

On the plus side, he looks so cute in little Cars and Spiderman gonchies. Trouble is I'm going to run out of them before day's end if things don't start looking up!

Mrs. Do It Herself

I built a little retaining wall today so that all the gravel underneath my newish sidewalk won't wash away over the winter. It's what I'm going to call a "living wall" because I was inspired by the old walls in England when I was there that have bits of plants growing out of them so I wanted to mimic it here. It has ended up looking nothing like an old English wall, but it HAS ended up looking like the picture I've had in my own mind. The dips and ups in the top of the wall are just beside where I've left holes in to plant things in the spring (or if I get impatient, this autumn)! Anyway, here it is, it took me the better half of the day and my wrists are sore... but I'm so happy to have it done!

Bollywood and Bubbles

I just finished a double feature of Bollywood over at my sister's house (don't judge me, I love the stuff). Incase you're not familiar with how long a typical Bollywood movie is... we started watching them at 8:30 and it's just gone 2:30 now. BUT, you do have to factor in 30 minutes driving time and turning on the computer. So you do the maths, k?

Anyway, on my way home, I realized (probably out of pure delerium) that I love how this new kind of gum I'm trying out makes these totally to die for bubbles! So all the way home I was blowing bubbles and refrained from taking any pics of myself doing so until I got home.

For your viewing pleasure, but DO keep in mind that it's 2:30 in the morning, half my makeup is gone and I twist and twirl my hair when I'm watching movies with my sister... it's a good look for me though, I think.

Stubby, my recovery tree.

I thought it would never happen in my new home, and I think it's because my vision wasn't the way it should be in order to find them.... but I finally did it.

Since my totally awesome company has gone, I tend to have this sort of clouded strange off in space sort of starring into nowhere type of vision and as I was doing my business on the toilet I glanced downward (umm... not THERE... down to the floor, sillies) and finally discovered a shape in my linoleum!! I know...hard to believe it took me a month and a half, but it did. I have to tell you that it's probably a bit far fetched but what I've discovered is a rather short stubby tree with two branches on top and the trunk of the tree has a face on it. So it just sits there perpetually now, and will be my source of amusement while I do the things that need doing on the pot.

I want to come up with a name for my stubby tree figure. Perhaps I'll just call him Stubby. Cuz you see, I feel like he's going to become an important confidant for me over the next month or so while I'm recovering from losing my company... so he deserves a name, really.

Saying goodbye is fucking hard.

16 Days of Heaven just came to an end... I'm broken and shattered... incomplete until I see my Mr Treat again. Who'd have thought domesticity could be so rewarding, so energizing, so mutually exciting, so very very fulfilling!!!

Just WOW, that's all... thank you Baby, for an absolutely tremendous time!!! There just aren't words to express the thumb print you've left behind in our hearts and lives!!

Love Jules
